what kind of language are they using in this text?
the grammar is not very good some of the sentences don't make any sense. 

positions, voice and interests are at play in this text?
the teacher thinks its not ok to kill the butterflies but the granddaughter different she thinks its ok the kill butterflies because they kill you cabbages that's not ok.

what does the author want us to know?
the author wants us to know the everyone is entitled to there  own opinion.

how are the characters constructed in this text?
that the teacher thinks butterflies should not be killed but the granddaughter thinks butterflies can be killed.

what kind of social realities does the text portray?

  1. Hey Summer, Izzy here. I like the way you added the question so people could understand what you were talking about. Next time maybe use a bigger text as this one was a bit harder to see. Did you think about how the butteries would feel if you killed them
