Sustainability
What does Sustainability mean?
Maintaining the world we live in.

What are some issues we face?
Climate change and global warming caused by rising Co2.
 
What can we do to be more sustainability in our lives?
  • Reduce household energy use.
  • Recycle.
  • resell and donate items.
  • Eat locally.
  • Dispose with disposables.
  • Save water.
  • Drink from the tap.
  • Turn off appliances and lights that you’re not using.
  • Install energy-efficient appliances.
  • Open windows to allow a breeze instead of turning on air conditioning.  
  • Hang clothes to dry instead of using the dryer.

9Tex1

In sewing the last few periods we have been making bags out of t-shirts. I think mine went pretty well. I have only finished my first copy not the good copy.


This is my practise one 

My next step is to start my good copy I think I don't think there's anything I wanna change.

what kind of language are they using in this text?
the grammar is not very good some of the sentences don't make any sense. 

positions, voice and interests are at play in this text?
the teacher thinks its not ok to kill the butterflies but the granddaughter different she thinks its ok the kill butterflies because they kill you cabbages that's not ok.

what does the author want us to know?
the author wants us to know the everyone is entitled to there  own opinion.

how are the characters constructed in this text?
that the teacher thinks butterflies should not be killed but the granddaughter thinks butterflies can be killed.

what kind of social realities does the text portray?
butterflies kill our cabbages there for we should be able to kill butterflies.


    

  

In Germany the government have increased fuel price true or false

In Germany the government have increased fuel price  

In the year 2017 an image was shared around everywhere. People were saying that people in Germany people abandon there cars because the fuel got way to expensive. 

The photo is real but the writing under the picture is not real. In the photo there is a massive multi-day traffic jam in china. According to google the traffic jam was there for about three days that is a long time. There was a truck that crashed in the fog there for everyone was stuck and had to abandon there cars for three days. The photo was taken in 2010.

Factual or Satirical



What photos is it using: Most of the photos on the onion are fake they are photo shopped of taken just to make people think that what they are saying is real.

What headlines are they sharing: on the onion most of the headlines a believable but when you start to read the article you realise its all just fake.

Do you think it is a factual website or a satirical: I think this website is satirical because none of there articles are real its all just made up.




What photos is it using: there are lots of photos of people and the earth, lakes, rivers and beaches

What headlines are they using: there are lots of headlines acting a question like (can the Grammy escape the past?)

Do you think it is a factual website or a satirical: i think this website is factual it looks pretty real and believable

Credible: Persuading someone that something will happen or be successful. 
Authority: You have the right to make decisions for yourself.
Reliable: Able to be trusted to do something on your own.
Perspective: seeing something from somebody's else's side. 
Agenda: A list of things that people in a important meeting discuss.
Manipulate: handle or control something in a good manner.

A: dont take things at face value what you see is not what you always get

A: if you dont buy them a diamond ring you dont love them if you do buy a diamond ring you do love them

A: a hidden message

A: yes we all have our own answers because poeple can see what others cant

A: The way you can find the real meaning about something

A: what you see on t.v may not be what you see in real life

what am i learning? what you see on t.v may not look like the protected that you see on t.v

how does this work show my learning? I am starting to understand how to be more critical about stuff i see on t.v.

what am i wondering? why do people lie on t.v and say something that's not actually real.
